The World Tour of York

An entertaining Guided Walk telling the story of York both in the past and today. Stories and images about York’s development, and the lifestyles of its people through the ages. From the rugged swampland that the Romans conquered in AD71, to the vibrant City of Festivals in AD2011.

The Tour operates Twice a Day, every Saturday and each of the tours goes along the entire length of The Shambles with stories at various stages.

The tours start in St Helens Square at 11am and 2pm and the duration is around 1 ¾ hours. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
