Cads was established in 1979 by David Smith on Church Street,York. David went on to win over 30 National awards in Men's Hairdressing including the Yorkshire championships the North East Championships and the York Championships three years in succession before becoming a judge on the National Men's Hairdressing jury circuit and also represented Great Britain in the World Congress of Hairdressing at the Royal Albert Hall in London. He has pasted on all his expertise and his attention to perfection to all his staff.
Cads also won the Consumer Choice Award in 2000 for being the best men's hairdresser in the City.
Cads have just moved into their prestigious new salon in 35 Fossgate, York. As well as offering the highest levels in Men's Hairdressing covering all aspects of precision cutting and styling the highly trained team of seven stylists offer a full range of colouring highlighting and straightening services.
Cads have now gone exclusively into the Men's Personal Grooming market. They offer luxury wet shaves manicures pedicures facials massages Reflexology and waxing.
Cads is next door to our exclusive newly refurbished ladies hairdressing and beauty salon. Men can enjoy the services of our fully trained beauticians and masseurs without the stigma of going into a ladies beauty parlour.
We believe we are unique to anywhere in the North of England in being able to offer all of these services under one roof while retaining a masculine upmarket feel to the salon.
