Stonegate Teddy Bears and Tea Rooms, York

Gently placed in the heart of traditional York, Stonegate Teddy Bears revisits days of old. Housed within a 15th Century building; the shop sits perfectly on one of the oldest paved streets in the city.

Take some time out and take in the marvellous views of the busy paved Stonegate below, one of the oldest streets in York. The Teddy Bear Tea Rooms are located just above the teddy shop.

A sea captain lived here mid 17th Century, he mounted a figurehead off the corner of the house-she is still here keeping watch over all the bears. This historical building is a beautiful part of Yorks' past, a shop not to be missed.
